Many hotel management systems drift, over time, into all-in-one suites: billing, F&B, spa, channel management, in-person payments. OTELI PMS makes the opposite choice. We’d rather be excellent at one job — property management — than mediocre at ten.
This page exists for a simple reason: better you know it before signing up than after.

Why these choices
Multi-OTA sync stays manual. OTELI lets you block inventory to prevent double bookings, but doesn’t automatically connect your availability to Booking.com or Airbnb. This is a deliberate focus choice: a reliable channel manager is a job of its own, and we’d rather give you a simple, transparent blocking tool than an automated sync we’d only half master.
In-person payment collection isn’t in the PMS. How you collect payment in person at the front desk (terminal, QR code, cash) is your property’s own choice, not a feature we should build into OTELI. We handle self-service online payment on your direct booking page — manually recording a payment already received stays possible, but we won’t build an integrated in-person payment gateway.
The Restaurant exists, but separately. If your property serves guests at a restaurant, it’s fair that you should be able to manage that service too. That’s why the Restaurant POS module (checkout, kitchen, stock) exists — but as a paid option, decoupled from the core lodging product. You don’t pay for an F&B feature you’ll never use.
Multi-property exists, but isn’t self-service. If you manage several properties (several addresses, several cities), OTELI natively supports this through an Organization linking your properties under one account. It’s not a checkbox at signup: setup happens with our team as part of an Elite engagement, to guarantee a clean configuration from day one. A single, very large hotel complex (hundreds of rooms, multiple services on one site) stays outside our target: a heavier enterprise PMS will fit that scale better.
The verdict
If you’re looking for a full hospitality ERP with integrated F&B and spa — OTELI isn’t for you, and we’d rather tell you now.
If you want a PMS that does one thing, and does it well, without charging you for what you’ll never use — that’s exactly why OTELI exists.
