We believe in a transparent web that respects your privacy. If you wish to stop using OTÊLI and delete your personal information from our platform, this page explains exactly how to proceed, which data is erased, and which must be retained for regulatory reasons.
1. What data is immediately deleted?
Once your request is validated and processed by our support team, the following personal data is permanently deleted:
- Personal profile: Your first name, last name, login email address, and mobile phone number.
- Security information: Your password (which was encrypted) and all your active session or access tokens.
- Profile image: Your user avatar.
- Usage preferences: Your interface display and configuration preferences.
2. What data is retained and why?
As a Property Management System (PMS), OTÊLI has a legal and fiscal responsibility regarding the financial and activity documents generated by your hotel:
- Accounting and tax obligations: Invoices issued, financial transaction histories, police registries, and billing data for the establishment cannot be destroyed immediately.
- Retention period: In accordance with commercial and tax regulations in force, these accounting records are archived securely and isolated for a mandatory period of 10 years. They are completely inaccessible for standard commercial or daily operational use.
3. How to submit your request?
You have two simple ways to request the deletion of your account:
Option A: From the OTÊLI application (Recommended)
- Log in to your OTÊLI administration space.
- Go to Settings, then click on My Account.
- At the very bottom of the page, click on Request deletion of my account.
- Confirm the dialog box. Your access will be instantly suspended for security reasons.
Option B: By email to support
Send an email to the following address: support@oteli.app with:
- Email subject:
Account Deletion Request - OTÊLI - Email body: Please specify the email address associated with your account and the name of your hospitality establishment.
4. Processing time and requests
- Immediate suspension: As soon as the request is sent via the application, your account is immediately suspended (status
SUSPENDED) to prevent any further unauthorized connection or use. - Permanent deletion: Our teams perform the necessary security checks and then initiate the cleanup of your personal data within a maximum of 30 days from the request. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the permanent deletion of your personal data is completed.
